Coalitions

MJB&A brings together companies and other stakeholders with common interests in order to advance mutually beneficial goals in the arena of energy and environmental policy.  MJB&A has a proven track record of tackling complex energy issues through these innovative, collaborative processes by identifying key stakeholders and experts for in-person meetings, producing jointly researched and edited reports, contributing to stakeholder negotiations, and providing comments and input during rulemaking processes.

Many of these successful collaborations have led to the formation of long-term coalitions.  MJB&A assists these coalitions by providing strategic and technical services, analysis, and information; coordinating the development of policy positions, outreach, and advocacy; and providing administrative support.

MJB&A-coordinated coalitions include groups of utilities with common interests and goals in advancing clean energy policy (the Clean Energy Group), protecting clean air (the Clean Air Policy Initiative), developing a low carbon fuel standard in the Northeast (the Low Carbon Fuel Standard Coalition), and actively participating in the development of the Northeast's Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI Working Group).  For more information on these individual coalitions, please read more or contact us.
