The Regional Greenhouse Gas Coalition (GHG Coalition) is a multi-sector industry coalition formed with the objective of participating in the regional climate change policy dialogue with government and environmental stakeholders in the United States.  In the Northeast United States, the GHG Coalition actively participates in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI pronounced "ReGGIe") and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Registry (RGGR pronounced "RiGGoR").   The GHG Coalition also closely tracks the West Coast Governors' Global Warming Initiative as well as individual state climate change initiatives.   The GHG Coalition participates in the development of regional climate change policies in the United States to develop a model for national action, promote coordination and standardization to maximize cost-effectiveness, and build linkages and reciprocity with international climate change programs especially the European Union's Emission Trading Scheme.
