Strategic Environmental Regulatory, Technical and Management Services
MJB&A assists companies with the resolution of air quality compliance issues.
We also assist our clients with analysis of proposed air quality legislative and regulatory
initiatives and with the development of strategic responses to these initiatives.
These services include assessment of new electric generating technologies, emission control
technologies and market-based compliance options. In addition, we work with
companies to develop or enhance their environmental management systems, including methods
to measure and communicate environmental performance and value.

The Clean Energy Group
Founded in 1997 by Michael Bradley, The Clean Energy Group is a coalition of electric
generating and electric distribution companies that share a commitment to responsible
environmental stewardship. We facilitate the group, acting as a centralized
source of information on environmental and energy issues, offering technical analysis
assistance related to legislative and regulatory proposals, providing a forum for
strategic discussions and advocating for effective policy solutions on key issues.
Areas of focus for the group currently include the NO
x SIP Call, §126 petitions
and litigation, mercury emissions and controls, integrated air quality strategy, air
toxics and global climate change.

Energy and Environmental Policy
MJB&A has been closely tracking the electric industry restructuring process for our
clients, focusing on potential changes in the nation's generating fuel mix, the
development of disclosure requirements, renewable portfolio standards and generation
performance standards. We also are monitoring the environmental impact of
industry restructuring, and working with clients to develop proposals for restructuring
policies. In addition, we are working with clients to optimize their
competitive position in light of policy changes in this area.

Advanced Vehicle Technologies
MJB&A provides technical analyses and overall project management, as well as the
preparation of technical reports in the field of advanced vehicle technologies.
In addition, MJB&A plays a key role in promoting, developing, deploying
and evaluating advanced vehicle and equipment technologies. Transportation
project work includes real world evaluation and performance testing of advanced
vehicle designs and emission control devices. Project areas span light
duty electric, to heavy-duty hybrid electric, construction, rail, airport, and marine
vessel deployments.

Climate Change Services
MJB&A's Climate Change Services Division assists clients in preparing greenhouse
gas emission inventories and in identifying potential liabilities and strategic
opportunities that potential regulation of greenhouse gases may present.
This service includes greenhouse gas emission assessments, greenhouse gas credit
generation protocols, and strategic business planning. We have also been
engaged in various greenhouse gas initiatives, including the development of regulatory
greenhouse gas trading procedures and assessment for various industry sectors of
options for controlling greenhouse gases and air pollution simultaneously.

Emission Credit Management
MJB&A has extensive experience with emission credit markets in light of our
facilitation of various emission credit demonstration projects and our work with
clients in analyzing the impact of state and federal emission credit programs.
We participate in stakeholder panels on behalf of clients to help
shape the design and implementation of state programs. We also provide
clients with advice on market opportunities in terms of credit creation, future
market conditions and credit acquisitions.
