Lauren Wilensky, Environmental Engineer
lwilensky@mjbradley.com

Lauren is an environmental engineer with ten years of experience in industrial air quality management, environmental health and safety, and mobile source emission reduction projects.   She has knowledge of air permitting and regulatory issues for a wide range of facilities with a variety of unique chemical handling processing operations.  Lauren also provides technical expertise for mobile source and fuel alternative initiatives.

She assists her clients with regulatory guidance through new source permitting, development of Title V operating permit strategies, implementation of record keeping, monitoring and reporting procedures, and feasibility studies of emission control alternatives.  This work includes the review and evaluation of federal and state emissions databases (BACT/LAER Clearinghouse, etc.), interaction with control system manufacturers, involvement in control system specification and implementation projects, as well as continued dialogue with government policy makers, regulators and enforcement personnel.  Additional efforts include interpretation of federal and local laws and policies as well as research into new and developing technologies.

Prior to joining MJB&A, Lauren worked for an environmental consulting firm that provided many environmental services such as permitting, pollution prevention, and environmental management systems.   She has performed emission inventories and supported air permitting activities for many industrial facilities with a primary focus on facilities in the northeastern U.S.  Lauren has developed database systems used to automate the calculation emissions and assessment of compliance status with federal, state and/or permit specific requirements.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.  She has taken additional coursework in Environmental Compliance Management and the Clean Air Act at Northeastern University.
